Moustache description
[edit]I'm undoing an edit that changed "Chaplin-like mustache" to "Hitler-like mustache" and added a reference. While it's a potentially valid descriptor, it's also potentially inflammatory. The citation added was not about Sparks or Mael. It would be great to get a citation that actually discusses the press / audience reaction to Mael's mustache, and if a valid reference says "Hitler-like" I wouldn't be opposed to putting it back in. -- Hurtstotouchfire (talk) 04:51, 17 July 2015 (UTC)
- Sorry, I was still up in the history when I started editing. Looks like the citation had already been removed by a later editor. Previous comments still stand. -- Hurtstotouchfire (talk) 04:54, 17 July 2015 (UTC)
I think at his age -73- and Jewish background Ron Mael was obviously "being the Jew with a Hitler mustache". It's laughable to think he didn't notice that his whole look- slicked back hair, thin Arian build..Hitler Mustache- and EVERYBODY in the 70's saw it as that..was a caricature of Germans.
