[edit]www.rodneymoore.com currently redirects to www.yourworstenemy.com which appears to be a domain-sitter site used for one of those portal type things; what's happened? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jgbreezer (talk • contribs) 23:58, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Original research
[edit]I cut out this section as it was almost certainly in violoation of Wikipedia's "No Original Research" guidelines:
- One site which is not in the nookie net, but which bears certain telltale signs of having been a Rodney Moore production (such as sets, lighting, camera quality, and overall approach) is one devoted to masturbating transsexuals. The registrant of this site is identified as "Sammy Mancini," which may be another of Moore's alter-identities. Moreover, in an internet interview of a year or so ago, Moore did suggest that he intended to inaugurate a new site, but one which would be much more "kinky" than his audiences were used to.

I know somebody that has worked for Rodney Moore and she said that he does indeed have a transexual site but said it was a "secret" and that he didn't want it to get out to the rest of the industry. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.237.5.165 (talk) 03:51, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
Can someone please try to rename this page to "Rodney Moore (actor/performer)" because I set up another page for Rodney Moore, the boxer which is called "Rodney Moore (boxer)". Thank you! --85.216.60.250 (talk) 16:35, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
Requested move 27 April 2015

The result of the move request was: No consensus. The article should remain at Rodney Moore (pornographic actor). EdJohnston (talk) 21:15, 30 May 2015 (UTC)
Rodney Moore (pornographic actor) → Rodney Moore (director) – According to IAFD, Rodney Moore has done more adult films as a director (792) than he has as a performer (662), so that is his main occupation. --Relisted. - Objection why are we having a RM for this one when you have without discussion yesterday removed (pornographic actor) from the entire category, contrary to long and stable consensus? for example (cur | prev) 01:55, 26 April 2015 Rebecca1990 (talk | contribs) m . . (9,991 bytes) (0) . . (Rebecca1990 moved page Paul Thomas (pornographic actor) to Paul Thomas (director): He is more of a director than a performer. ... why discuss this one? why not revert the others at Special:Log/Rebecca1990? In ictu oculi (talk) 22:43, 27 April 2015 (UTC)
- I'm requesting that this one be moved because I can't move it myself, it is WP:Move protected for some reason. Paul Thomas wasn't move protected, so I didn't request a move on that article's talk page since I could just move it myself. Rebecca1990 (talk) 00:31, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
- I have reverted it back to longstanding status quo as Paul Thomas (pornographic actor), it, and the dozens of others, are clearly controversial while there are RMs producing differing results. In ictu oculi (talk) 00:54, 28 April 2015 (UTC)

- Rebecca1990 A short time ago, with good faith and with the best intentions and, in my case, after a month's worth of discussion that I thought had led to consensus. I made about 500 page moved and the result is found in the thread: Wikipedia talk:Requested moves/Archive 27#Request to revert a whole bunch of undiscussed moves. I suggest that you revert your undiscussed moves. If there there were a thread to request a revert I would personally support. If in doubt that these moves are controversial and, arguably, risk extreme misrepresentation of content, please see my commentary at Talk:Cytherea (pornographic actress)#Requested move 27 April 2015. I would predict that your actions would be judged disruptive. GregKaye 12:27, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
- Support per nomination. Fortdj33 (talk) 14:03, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
- User:Fortdj33 as one of the noms of these moves you have been asked what you propose to do about the 6 bios with pornographic and non-pornographic actors. You haven't acknowledged the question. In ictu oculi (talk) 15:17, 1 May 2015 (UTC)
- Support, clearly more active and notable as a director than as an actor. Cavarrone 06:17, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose for reasons stated above. Hanswar32 (talk) 22:46, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
- Comment I would like to make whoever closes this discussion aware of the overwhelming consensus we now have against the use of (pornographic actress) and (pornographic actor) in article titles where the (actress) and (actor) title is available. See discussions for Aja, April O'Neil, April O'Neil, again, Chloe, Cytherea, Hillary Scott, Mandingo, Savannah & Serenity. Obviously, this article's title can not remain at Rodney Moore (pornographic actor), it needs to be renamed to either Rodney Moore (actor) or Rodney Moore (director). I strongly suggest and endorse the Rodney Moore (director) title over (actor) because his entry at IAFD, the IMDb of porn, shows that he has done more porn films as a director than he has as a performer. Rebecca1990 (talk) 03:25, 25 May 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose. This paid editor's jihad is inconsistent with long-established consensus practice, and their fait accompli violationsa did not alter that consensus. The Big Bad Wolfowitz (aka Hullaballoo) (talk) 02:38, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
- Stop accusing me of being a publicist, which I'm not. How is that even a good "oppose" argument? How is the title Rodney Moore (director) promotional? This "long-established consensus" you claim exists is irrelevant. WP:Consensus can change, and it has (Aja, April O'Neil, Chloe, Cytherea, Hillary Scott, Mandingo, Savannah & Serenity). Rebecca1990 (talk) 03:20, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
- No. Other move requests were turned down or failed to reach consensus. Cherry picking only the outcomes that favor your side is not good faith discussion. And several of those outcomes you cite aren't valid -- April O'Neil, for example, was closed prematurely byu an involved editor. The Big Bad Wolfowitz (aka Hullaballoo) (talk) 03:32, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
- Discussions with only a couple of participants who voted "oppose" just because not many users were aware it was taking place don't count as "consensus", especially when that same article was discussed again later with much more participants (including both "oppose" voters from the previous discussion) and actually resulted in a consensus to shorten (pornographic actress) to (actress). The result of the move request was: Closed without action. Immediately renewing an appropriately closed request like this is an abuse of process and a waste of editors' and admins' time. The Big Bad Wolfowitz (aka Hullaballoo) (talk) 13:38, 31 May 2015 (UTC)
Rodney Moore (pornographic actor) → Rodney Moore (director) – This article's title cannot remain the same. It contradicts an overwhelming consensus to cease using "(pornographic actor)" in article titles (This has been discussed numerous times. See discussions for Aja, April O'Neil #1, April O'Neil #2, Chloe, Hillary Scott, Mandingo, Savannah & Serenity.) and it violates WP policy (WP:NAMINGCRITERIA #5, Consistency: "The title is consistent with the pattern of similar articles' titles.") Rodney Moore (director) is a more accurate title for this article than Rodney Moore (actor) because his IAFD entry lists more films for him as a director (796) than as a performer (667).
