Tagging (January 2021)

I came across this article because of questions being asked on IRC about this draft: User:Loloirving/sandbox

This article has been here for a very long time, so the standards that applied when it was first created were perhaps looser than they are today. In addition to the problems I tagged (I didn't really want to tag-bomb), there is a username problem for the original contributor, which is the name of Irving's record label. They've not been active for many years, so I don't see much point in trying to get them to disclose or reporting them. Included in the article are what look like too-long excerpts quoted from copyrighted sources. While attributed, they likely violate Wikipedia's copyright policy.

It seems likely that Irving is a notable musician, but the lack of proper sources leaves the issue in some doubt. Since I think it's likely to survive a notability discussion and cutting out everything that lacks inline citations (that is, everything) is not really a solution, I'm just leaving the tags and this note. — jmcgnh^{(talk) (contribs)} 08:23, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
