Throughout this article, the subject's name is peculiarly spelled RoBERT, although the article's title is spelled Robert. The corresponding French WP article uses Robert except for one instance of RoBERT in the introduction. I assume this spelling is an affectation of the singer's, which is her right to do, but since neither English nor French Wikipedia has seen fit to use that spelling in the article's title, the body of this article should follow the French article's correct example and not do so either. That peculiar spelling may please fans, but it is quite confusing to a casual reader like me and the hundreds of millions of other WP users who are not fans but are simply looking to find out who she is.
I verified that she does use that spelling on her own web site, so I will include it as an alternate spelling in the introduction, but in the rest of the article I am going to change the spelling to Robert to match the article's title.--Jim10701 (talk) 20:13, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
