Since Riistetyt is a pretty important band in the development of Finland's hardcore punk scene, it would be great if any Finnish Wikipedians could look into adding more detail to the article - especially some more in-depth stuff about their history. Since I'm not fluent in Finnish whatsoever (at least not at the time of writing this), I'm limited to mostly just the English language sources about Riistetyt available online in much fewer numbers than the Finnish ones. Just leaving this here as a general note for future contributors. Thanks in advance for any and all positive input. --Samotny Wędrowiec (talk) 01:58, 6 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I believe both translations are correct, as the noun is derived from the verb "riistää" - which means "to deprive, bereave" as well as "to oppress, exploit". --Samotny Wędrowiec (talk) 20:03, 25 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
