Misplaced Reference?
[edit]Why is the link to the (excellent!) Tapia biography (at http://www-groups.dcs.st-and.ac.uk/~history/Printonly/Tapia.html) placed as an un-numbered bullet under "References"? Shouldn't it be listed under "External Links"? --Mike Schwartz (talk) 08:03, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
damage to entry for "B.A." under "Education"
[edit]The first edit of 16:25, 29 September 2008 was some bogus vandalism (adding "HE IS A BIOTCH", with no pretense of correctness or reasonableness). The second edit (shown in the history with the same date and time) removed that addition, but it also damaged the entry for "B.A." under "Education", by removing 3 of the 4 digits of the year ["1961"], and by also removing the name of the major field, ["(Mathematics)"]. The best way to correct this damage is easy to figure out, and I intend to edit the article soon, to fix it. However, the explanation given here might be too long to fit in the edit summary [comments] allowed, so my "edit summary" comments will instead just refer to this "Talk" page entry. One can then refer to the history, for details about what changed when. Thank you. --Mike Schwartz (talk) 07:14, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
- The above described edit (to repair the damage) has now been done; hence the little "check mark" icon, (saying "Resolved.") [has been inserted] above. "case closed" --Mike Schwartz (talk) 07:26, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
Drag racing???
[edit]This strikes me at spam. References??? Sdkb (talk) 07:09, 31 March 2017 (UTC)
Not spam--Tapia is a lifelong fan of cars and racing--he speaks about it quite often. Not sure of a reference for the precise claims in the article though. Dmildy (talk) 04:19, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
