Shouldn't this be kept as a redirect to the current Republic of Benin?

It would seem this article should be titled Republic of Benin (Nigeria) rather than simply taking the name of a current government. I think the current Republic of Benin takes precedence over a 1 day old "state" during the 1960s.--Thomas.macmillan (talk) 07:17, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
