The above article was originally about this building, which was the first courthouse and housed the whole of the ala cty sup court system. It now has numerous separate courthouses.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 05:03, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I believe that most, if not all, of the various courthouses are significant buildings in their own right. this one is nearly an historic landmark. If the court consisted of one building, i would say the court and the building would need only one article, but the court itself resides in half a dozen buildings, all fairly large. this one is one of the larger buildings in Oakland, as is the Wiley Manuel building, and the Hayward Hall of Justice is the largest full service courthouse in alameda county.(mercurywoodrose)66.80.6.163 (talk) 15:39, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
