Lead image

[edit]

@Iruka13: What part of MOS:LEAD are you referencing? Srnec (talk) 02:04, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Images. As with all images, but particularly the lead, the image used should be relevant and technically well-produced. It is also common for the lead image to be representative because it provides a visual association for the topic, and allow readers to quickly assess if they have arrived at the right page.

An image should generally be placed in the most relevant article section; (MOS:SECTIONLOC)
and whole MOS:LEADIMAGE. — Ирука13 05:03, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Iruka13: I see similar edits across many articles in my watchlist. I do not agree with them. What could be more relevant in the article on an 11th-century Muslim lawyer (al-Dani) than an image of his work? Srnec (talk) 00:03, 24 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Empty space.
No, it's not my opinion. Links above. — Ирука13 06:15, 24 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It is your opinion that "empty space" is more relevant than the image. Srnec (talk) 21:07, 24 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
