Almost entire article based on Bracken's analysis of it?

[edit]

I'm wondering if that makes the article qualified for the single source template. I'm particularly concerned that Bracken makes a number of bold statements about the wargame's outcome but the outcomes and the timeline of the scenario listed in the report has not been declassified. I'm doubtful Bracken would still be a free man if he had used classified information to write his book which make me suspect his statements are bogus. 118.211.44.190 (talk) 04:04, 25 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • I've been reading through the article and I agree with this three year old take on the matter. Some very bold statements are made despite the fact the exercise is still very classified. I'd like to clean it up myself but that's a pretty serious endeavour. Kylesenior (talk) 13:03, 15 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It seems to me like there is too much extraneous information in this article, including extended discussions of incidents that occurred after Proud Prophet (e.g. KAL 700, Able Archer). Langewieshe's article also has a lot of information on the course of the game that would be informative to include, though the personal opinions he is promoting would need to be excised.RogerBurk (talk) 21:33, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
