I've added some info there about the rapid transit corridors, the antecedent of the current light rail plans. I'm missing a few bits that I'm trying to source like the 2009 city development plan (County has all their old ones up nice and handy, but the City Council has not been so friendly). Also feel something recognising the city boundary being modified to include Ballincollig (i.e. to help clarify the relevance of the county development plans/explain the existence of the CASP) might be necessary, but hard to fit in, given it comes so late even while it had been long anticipated. I can also recall there being a study by Bus Eireann into a BRT in the early teens (2012, 2013?). As far as I know it was never published but did receive local news coverage.
