Litteral translation
[edit]For the litteral translation or official translation, when I tried to find the corresponding name, there are more than one translation.Outline of Consitution by Imperial Order or Outline of Imperial Constitution or something else,I cann't tell which is used more frequently,so I chose the Pinyin other than the litteral translation.--Ksyrie(Talkie talkie) 19:03, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
- Then you must explain this, clearly and completely, in the text of the article or in a footnote. As it stands now it's no good to put "etc." unless that "etc." is explained. Don't keep reverting until you‘ve added the explanation, thanks. Badagnani 19:27, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
- I mean ,when I firstly wrote this article [1],there's no quotation marks, you put these marks and incorporated the etc in the whole translation. So it seems that etc is part of the name, but it's not.--Ksyrie(Talkie talkie) 19:35, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
- In English, "etc." means that there are more words in the name. This is incorrect. I think what you mean is that there are other translations. If so, please note this in the article so that "etc." is not misinterpreted. It's not hard. Badagnani 19:43, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you for correcting my mistake,I really need further study of english semantics.--Ksyrie(Talkie talkie) 23:32, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
Rename and move the article
[edit]I renamed and moved the article to the common English name, as, for instance, in Nathan's book. ch (talk) 04:20, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
