Chain of command
[edit]All i've found did not point out clearly if the PC was a superior officer in Combat too or only in the Castrorum. I found that his duties were to organize the camplife and take the first Position if the Legatus or the Tribunus laticlavius were absent of the castrum. But it is never explained which position in the chain of command he had in combat or on the march. All his described Duties were irrelevant then and there so it seems to me as if he would not have been superior f. e. to an Primus pilus in combat.--WerWil (talk) 09:40, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
