Duplicate Tag

[edit]

This page is a less-maintained version of PPARGC1A. Sonic The Holoprosencephalous (talk) 02:31, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for identifying that other page. I note that one page is for the protein, and the other for the gene, which is what many people seem to prefer. However, I am a fan of combining such pages, for precisely the reason you identify. I also don't like template:duplication as it doesn't tend to grab the attention of editors, and doesn't mark the other page (where there might also be an interested set of editors). So, I prefer to use merge to propose a solution to the problem of duplication. Klbrain (talk) 08:15, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

BNP / AP1 ?

[edit]

In the section Clinical significance there's the following sentence:

PGC-1α increases BNP expression by coactivating Estrogen-related receptor alpha (ERRα) and / or AP1.

What stand BNP and AP1 for? Agentjoerg (talk) 05:40, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
