incomplete?

[edit]

the fourth paragraph of the article seems to be incomplete, the sentence "Compounds containing platinum, such as cisplatin, oxaliplatin and" just ends there. Is anyone going to fix it? or is it being edited? 2800:810:40E:946:BDAE:526A:7CAC:F767 (talk) 00:08, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of contradictory Discovery of chemical elements

[edit]

I removed the claim that the article contradicts Discovery of the chemical elements. This article does not claim Pt was discovered by the Egyptians so it can't contradict discovery. Johnjbarton (talk) 17:09, 22 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The claim is about the year (1200 BCE vs 600 BCE). While Shepenupet II died around 650 BCE, I'm not sure are there earlier uses of platinum in ancient Egyptian burials. Nucleus hydro elemon (talk) 04:58, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I deleted the date. Johnjbarton (talk) 16:37, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
