Cougars

[edit]

I thought that cougars were extirpated from this region! C . Moccasin (talk) 22:37, 11 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: no consensus with no prejudice against a speedy renomination if someone wants to bring forth more sources to make a policy based argument for it. (non-admin closure) TonyBallioni (talk) 03:47, 18 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Piney WoodsPineywoods – The text of the article was changed today by SusanGriswold (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log). The problem is, of the sources in the article that aren't dead links, I'm seeing a mix of Piney Woods and Pineywoods. Thus, I don't want to move the article (and have to unwind the move) until more eyes look into the situation. That said, if there's a quick outburst of sources that read Pineywoods and nobody opposing, I'm prepared to call this request off early and move the page boldly. —C.Fred (talk) 23:41, 27 July 2017 (UTC)--Relisting. Seems there is a mix of usage. The two word "Piney woods" phrase seems far more common from a simple google search. I see no reason for a renaming and have reverted the previous change in the article text. Vsmith (talk) 17:54, 28 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Capitalization

[edit]

Throughout the article we see inconsistent capitalization of Piney Woods. Jidanni (talk) 21:19, 10 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
