[edit]

Greetings. My addition of a reference to the "Fish Heads" video by Barnes and Barnes was removed for lack of a footnote. I will add a link to the video, although I am not yet sure I can find one from anything official instead of someone just posting on their own channel. I note however that other references to videos do not have footnotes. There is no academic work that notes the Fish Heads video in the context of the Pan-Pacific Auditorium. It is simply directly observable. Here - about 20 seconds in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cn73Wtem0No The reference was also removed for not being "notable." I disagree. The song was VERY popular nationally and the video played often on MTV and Nickelodeon - pretty much the only sources for music videos in the pre-internet days. The song comes up again in other pop-culture contexts including even the Simpsons. See the page on the song: Fish Heads (Song). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mhatlie (talkcontribs) 08:03, 27 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Would this reference be a sufficient footnote? It is from IMDB and states that "Pan-Pacific Park, West Hollywood, California, USA" is where the video was filmed: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0218976/locations/?ref_=tturv_at_dt_flmg — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mhatlie (talkcontribs) 11:26, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
