• Perhaps link for PS?
• Link sidewheel and barge.
• If this is the Northern Transportation Company referenced, link it.
• Use "the" before all uses of "Lotta Bernard".

• Flour and kegs don't need links.

• "shore, and one of the group died of exposure" → "and" seems like an inappropriate conjunction here, maybe "although" or something else might be better.
• "had, passed" → "had passed,"
• "As of 2020 the" → "As of 2020, the"

Use of the definite article before a ship's name
