Past performances
[edit]What should be the standard for adding/removing artists in the "Past Performances" section? Should it be removed entirely? Or should concerts of notability only be included in a explainatory paragraph of sorts? The Alltel Pavilion at Walnut Creek and Koka Booth Amphitheatre articles have the same problem. --TinMan 21:27, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
Leave the section while seeming trivial this is history, that is not preserved and presents information of education nature on the artists who toured as headliners and opening acts and when artists became headlines. With Co-headliners or the independent headline.
It would be dater if the table was sortable by dates to see the season and operations of the venue both from a culture educational point and one of hoe Charlotte North carolina was viewed and used on tours. Charlotte NC has grown over the years from being a B-class market not booking big headliners sellout acts on Friday and/or Saturday to an A-class market where crowds will fill the venue enough to for promoters to risk weekend dates. More harcore/diehard Fans will show up on any day and are given, competing events, multiple events of the same genre draining available attendance expeditionary money and along with many others options affect whether 2nd class, 3rd class, 4th class fans will show up. Also the age of fans can affect the booking night for of the next morning is normal M-F 9 to 5 working day. All of this makes the chart useful, noteworthy and of historical importance. easy to dismiss as trivial today, just like all those old John Carson Show(for just 1 example) tapes and news footage that was recorded over or thrown away. Archives that will never be complete and that value unrealized by people at the time. Since i don't have an account and refuse to create one and join the wikipedia cliche` This will be ignored argue for deletion and wiped from history despite being the best source of information out there minus going through 20 years of newspapers looking for advertisements that may have never been ran in the papers google news has. Numerous city entertainment periodicals have come and gone that had full page ads listing bands, performers of note that reflect a limited period of history . Then again deleting true information is the wikipedia circle jerk's way.... 2600:1702:1590:9A30:4D99:FCE:4DC4:9CF1 (talk) 05:02, 4 May 2019 (UTC)
