Unsourced but potentially valid content salvaged from an anon's edit to article

Many people don’t know the fact that the famous madurai kamaraj university (MKU) was built on the grounds donated by P.T. Rajan family. P.T.R’s (as he is popularly called as by the locals) has contributed a lot to temples and several educational institutions in and around madurai area.
