Its is uncommon in Wikipedia articles to use the first name of the subject of the article. It would be better if the monastic name "Payutto" was used, under which Ven. Payutto is known in the English-speaking world. See also MOS:SURNAME.

MOS:SURNAME doesn't apply to Thai people; see the subsequent subsection in the same page. However, using the first name might not be appropriate for monks as a specific group. I'm not familiar enough with the subject to recommend either way. --Paul_012 (talk) 02:42, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
In accordance with wp:COMMONNAME, he should be called 'Luang Phor Payutto', or if you want to drop the honorific, 'Phra Payutto'. Though it is common to refer to monks by their first name, in Thai culture scholar monks are often an exception to this. Even if you would just refer to him the first name, you would still have to add 'Phra', because 'Prayudh' is a very common name in Thailand, almost like 'Jack' or 'John', and monks are just simply never addressed without at least the word 'phra'. In this case wp:COMMONNAME overrrules MOS:GIVENNAME, i would say.S Khemadhammo (talk) 11:28, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It's a bibliography as in "list of works cited", not "list of works by the subject". I've renamed the section to Further reading, though, since neither of them are directly cited. --Paul_012 (talk) 20:31, 29 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
