It should be noted that this episode had an repeat airing within the same week (rare for anu show) and should be added to the ratings area.--Cooly123 17:28, 14 January 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cooly123 (talk • contribs)
It's not the first airing, so it's not as heavily promoted (if at all) so the ratings don't really reflect on the episode. It's the same reason why we don't include ratings for the second/third primetime showings. -- Scorpion042219:08, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
At Captain Infinity's comments; it has already been discussed countless times the notability of Simpsons articles and its been agreed that all are notable enough to warrant articles. The content of the article already asserts notability, with appropriate info warranting info as per WP:MOSTV. Your argument is unsound. The Flash{talk}05:53, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
At the end of this episode is a message saying "Thanks for 20 wonderful years. The best is yet to come." Does anyone have anything about this message? It strikes me as odd it showed up here. It wasn't the 20th anniversary of the show's premier on Tracy Ullman Show, nor was it the anniversary of the series pilot. It wasn't even the first episode of the year, as episode 9 the week prior took that honor. It just seems odd to me that it would show up at the end of episode 10 of the season (normally the thing you would expect maybe on the season finale). Anyone know anything about it? 99.41.24.226 (talk) 18:58, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ahh, I think you are right! I was calculating from the Christmas special, but Bart the Genius aired on Jan 14, 20 years earlier (this episode was on Jan 10th). Mmmmm that's gooood researchiiiing! 76.31.243.35 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 21:15, 6 May 2011 (UTC).[reply]
