Hey @FromCzech:, I see we disagree with the usage of Template:Interlanguage_link. To state my case, it may appear that they are overused on this page, but I think that just highlights the English Wikipedia's lack of depth on this area of history. I disagree that they are "irrelevant for English wiki users", as it shows that these battles (in this case) are notable. Without speaking Czech one could glean more information from those pages than the stub articles relating to just the locations (specifically Malý Bor). And why not link at all to Governor of the House of Rosenberg [cs]? MOS:SPECIFICLINKseems to support my case could go either way, maybe we could make redirects. Alternatively, would it not be possible to leave the ill templates while also wording the sentences in a way to also include links to the articles for the places? I've re-added the battle ill's while keeping the link to Malý Bor (Tábor was previously linked in the article). Let me know if you disagree with this approach. Mbdfar (talk) 17:59, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Mbdfar: The battles are notable for Czech users and Czech wiki, but for English wiki – not so much, as their non-existing pages proves. The level of significance varies depending on who the end user is. I would welcome some unbiased opinion on this problematics, however right now I'm not interested to discuss it anymore and I'm okay with the current version. Feel free to return the Governor of the House of Rosenberg [cs] link too, if you really think that someone will ever use it. FromCzech (talk) 18:13, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
