The History of ONGC should begin with the history of oil exploration and discoveries. Talk of ASTO and people who sold shares to the public is irrelevant. Where is the mention of Ankleshwar, Cambay, Assam, Bombay High? Who contributed more - Manglik or Talukdar? Technical analysis of ongc —Preceding unsigned comment added by 61.11.73.87 (talk) 08:40, 4 December 2006

This all reads like a page from ONGC's corporate webpage ... no mention of the Bombay High disaster at all (11 people dead, complete destruction of the MHN process platform in the four platform complex; severe damage to the MHF accommodation platform and the NA wellhead platform ...). Appalling! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.232.89.149 (talk) 08:42, 15 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

HQ

[edit]

Please Check the link below and decide for yourself...http://www.ongcindia.com/offices.asp Its still Dehradun according to the official ONGC Site — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sanketsingh (talkcontribs) 08:04, 27 December 2006

This report
gives an address of Indira Chowk, New Delhi. Has the HQ moved from Dehradun to New Delhi?

On behalf of Klbrain, adding an article maintenance tag to discuss the merger of ONGC Petro Additions Dahej Complex with Oil and Natural Gas Corporation's page. Charlie (talk) 16:42, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Merge case: that the ONGC Petro Additions Dahej Complex is a stub best merged for context; the current page here is short enough that a split doesn't seem warranted. Much of the content was already on the former version of this page suggesting that this was undiscussed WP:SPLIT warranting reversal. Klbrain (talk) 17:06, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Supporting the merge: checked the former version of the page and concurred with the reasoning for the merge. Charlie (talk) 12:35, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Klbrain We should conclude this discussion and move forward with the merge. Charlie (talk) 17:42, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
