I doubt that "spezifisches Gewicht" used to be an alternative term for "Dichte". "Spezifisches Gewicht" was and is the same as "relative Dichte" (relative density), which is a ratio of two densities. Degree Öchsle are determined as a difference of two densities. The term "Mostgewicht" may have been coined in loose analogy. Gotox21:55, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
