What is going on with the non-integer vote totals for several parties in the election? Did the Icelandic electoral system at the time count some votes as half votes? Ucucha (talk) 22:33, 30 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
There were some two-member districts which used plurality block voting. Each voter there thus cast two ballots. Since this was not the system used nationwide, official reports halve the number of votes cast in those districts when displaying national results. Bjarki (talk) 11:47, 18 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
