Founder/Founded in Info box

[edit]

The year Obese Records was founded in is listed as 1995, but the founder is the purchaser from 2002. I get that it changed operations in 2002, but does that change the founder? If so, doesn't it change the year founded? 131.217.6.8 (talk) 07:15, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

ok I see what you mean. I'll change year to 2002 since the 1995 date refers to a record store with a different name (OBs). the label came later Kathodonnell (talk) 10:27, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

quote about Obese & Hilltop Hoods

[edit]

I added the quote by Mark Pollard (stealth) about Obese & Hilltop Hoods, because HH are the most (commercially) well-known & successful Australian hip hop band and Obese played a major role in them coming to this state, so I thought it might help with notability. Did all Obese Records activities wind up in 2016?

[edit]

The article currently states that Obese Records stopped releasing music in 2016. What about the other arms of the business? Are any of them still active? --Danimations (talk) 13:05, 17 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
