There are indeed usable binaries available from the download page listed on the wikipedia article. I have the application installed and running currently on my Microsoft Windows XP system. The reason listed for speedy deletion is provably invalid.

  • From the external links::: The specifications pages says OFF System specifications go here. and has no content **** The development blog says Seems you’ve caught us with our pants down. It appears someone got a little overzealous. But hey, such is life. ***** It's a beta product August 11th: OK, .08 seems pretty stable. I’m declaring it officially beta. --Brat32 13:51, 15 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Well there you go, 'pretty stable' and 'officially beta'. AFAIK, being a final product isn't a requirement for having a wikipedia articles. Many other beta softwares have wikipedia articles. --Sniperfox

"Owner Free File System"

[edit]

There's already a larger article Owner free filing system. I think this page should redirect.

This article claims that OFF System is an implementation of the Owner free file system, but that article acts like "OFF System" is just an abbreviation. If this article is correct, the other one needs to be clarified. If that one is correct, the articles should be merged. It looks to me like "OFF System" is both an abbreviation and the name of an implementation, but I'm not really sure. Herorev 14:11, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
