Info based on primary source
[edit]This article has a ton of issues. There is a huge amount of information, some of which is probably irrelevant, all based on a single primary source. I'm going to attempt a clean up, which will probably result in removing a lot of the information. I'll try and find some sources as well. OohBunnies! Leave a message 17:54, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
- Okay, so I checked that primary source and it actually links to this article, which leads me to believe that it was written by someone for the author himself. I'm going remove all the background. As this is a BLP, it adheres to stricter sourcing policies, and all this information is completely unsourced. Will leave a message for the person that added the info. OohBunnies! - As I noted at WP:BLPN, I have removed all of the unsourced material until sources can be found to support it, as well as sufficient relevance to justify its inclusion.--Bbb23 (talk) 21:49, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
- Oh, well, I was kind of thinking that the basic factual stuff, that he writes mystery and other genres, and the bibliography, could be sourced to a primary source - his own website. OohBunnies! Leave a message 22:02, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
- To some extent, such a long list of genres is self-serving and therefore shouldn't be cited to a primary source. As for the bibliography, it is better to include those works that have received secondary coverage (as you did with the two that won awards) rather than just a bare list.--Bbb23 (talk) 22:08, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
