Phascogale tapoatafa pirata
[edit]In reading brush-tailed phascogale and looking through some journal articles I wonder if we should move this to Northern brush-tailed phascogale or to Phascogale tapoatafa pirata. Any thoughts? ErikHaugen (talk | contribs) 07:32, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
- I guess IUCN's article indicates this is the latest. Should we use the "common" name? ErikHaugen (talk | contribs) 07:49, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, I think it's commonly accepted as a species now. The common name does seem widely used (as is generally the case for Australian mammals); most citations in Google Scholar also mention it. Ucucha (talk) 14:22, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
