A news item involving Nokia was featured on Wikipedia's Main Page in the In the news section on 18 April 2015.
Nokia received a peer review by Wikipedia editors, which is now archived. It may contain ideas you can use to improve this article.
Should the section on "Nokia 7 Plus data breach" be moved to the HMD wiki article? Although the phone shares the name of the Nokia corporation (and the name is indeed licensed from Nokia Corp), it is manufactured and sold by HMD, a wholly distinct company. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.113.115.109 (talk) 18:56, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The logo history section is unclear, it implies the logo was last changed in 1986, however another editor has claimed it was 1978. Every news article on the logo change has just copy pasted "nearly sixty years". Can we come to a consensus? commemorative (talk) 13:14, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
We have to go along with the "nearly sixty years" in the sources. This is supported by the Lippincott source which places the previous logo in the 1960s. -- Wire723 (talk) 16:37, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I think that's incorrect, and since all the articles have the exact same wording it's most likely from a press release.
If we have the exact year we can avoid problems with having to update the amount of time since it was changed by just using a template. All we need is a consensus on the year. commemorative (talk) 05:03, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Updating the amount of time isn't an issue, since the introduction of the previous logo will always be the same number of years before the 2023 logo. -- Wire723 (talk) 16:38, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
