I came across this article while doing new page patrol. It would appear the subject is definitely notable and there is a lot of intersting facts in the copy, which are presumably supported by some of the listed links. But without inline cites it's hard to know. The style is also all wrong, being far too conversational and in places demonstrating poor syntax. I've done some copy editing to try and clean up in the more historical areas, but I'm leary of editing the sections that deal more directly with the novel content and controversy, as there are clearly some serious and contravercial opinions about this out there and I don't want to cause offence with an inadvert copy edit. Plus I simply don't know anything about the subject or culture. Incoming editors may wish to reivew the edit history to see what I've changed already. There's definitely a good article in here, it just needs cleaning up by an experienced wikipedian who is familiar with this work. I've tagged this for both the Indian and Bangladesh wikiprojects as the article Bengali Literature article is so marked and this book is identified as being within that genre.--ThePaintedOne (talk) 15:57, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
