FLC Head
[edit]The article describes Nicholas as head of the Federal Legal Commission (FLC) but that's not actually correct. When he was on the DA professional staff he was for a time the FLC Manager, but that meant he was in charge of administrative support for the FLC. The FLC itself is headed by an elected chairperson, which is Glynnis Breytenbach (see e.g. [1]). htonl (talk) 12:11, 13 August 2024 (UTC)
The user below has a request that an edit be made to Nicholas Gotsell. That user has an actual or apparent conflict of interest.
The requested edits backlog is very low. There are currently 48 requests waiting for review.
Please read the instructions for the parameters used by this template for accepting and declining them, and review the request below and make the edit if it is well sourced, neutral, and follows other Wikipedia guidelines and policies.- Specific text to be added or removed:
- Delete the phrase "he is also the head of the DA's Federal Legal Commission," from the lead
- Delete the sentence "He became the head of the party's internal Federal Legal Commission," from "Early life and career".
- Reason for the change: As explained in my comment above. The Mail & Guardian article cited is in error.
- References supporting change: there are numerous sources stating that Glynnis Breytenbach is the Chairperson of the Federal Legal Commission, for example: [1][2][3]
