Epic?
[edit]I don't have a problem with the edit, but I'd say that Cyberman is epic as well (desperate humanity on the verge of losing a space war, Cybermen in cahoots with secret agencies within the Earth government, using political assassination as a tool...) —Josiah Rowe 00:45, 15 October 2005 (UTC)
- Yeah, but somehow, a 4-parter doesn't seem very epic... yet. :) --khaosworks (talk • contribs)
DWM False future Doctor
[edit]In the article it states that the future incarnation of the Doctor he provided the model for proved to be false, iirc & as I understand it, while the story arc involving the 8th regenerating into that incarnation was a deception, there was a previous appearance by this future incarnation in a 7th Doctor strip where he had a different companion than those during the time of the deception. Since this would seem to place it outside the time of the false Doctor and that the companion of the future Doctor treats him as authentic, this strongly suggests to me that the 8th Doctor and Shayde based their false incarnation on their knowledge of this particular 'true' (or 'possible' at the very least) future incarnation (in the context of the DWM strips).Number36 00:30, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
Image
[edit]Is the screencap from Myth Runner the best image to use for Briggs? A screencap from Doctor Who Confidential showing him doing the Dalek voice with his sportscaster's mike might be better, and would have the same fair use justification; alternatively, I'm sure someone could get a freely licensed image from a convention somewhere. (I wouldn't suggest using Image:GallifreyAutographs.jpg or Image:Gallifrey2006.jpg, 'cause neither one is a very clear shot of Briggs, but a better shot could probably be found.) I just don't think that the picture of Briggs in character from Myth Runner represents him all that well.
There could also be a good argument for including an image of the "Briggs Doctor" from Doctor Who Magazine, either from the brief appearance in "Party Animals" or the "Ninth Doctor" storyline. That would, of course, be in addition to an image of Briggs himself. —Josiah Rowe (talk • contribs) 21:12, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
How about the one onhttp://www.lunacynet.com/league/char_windermere.html? I'd do it , but I'm useless with images.(Black Dalek 18:13, 5 April 2007 (UTC)).

- There's a number of Behind the scenes pictures on the BBC website that may be able to be used. I don't know what the situation is for uploading pictures from an official website, is that allowed under "fair use"?
