- It's also not in keeping with US Navy practices. Regardless of Astoria being the first ship of the class to be laid down, US Navy practice has consistently been that the lead ship of any class is the one with the lowest hull number. — Red XIV (talk) 15:40, 5 April 2024 (UTC)
