Someone removed the "Nestor the Molester" nickname on account of it being offensive. Not sure this is a sufficient reason to remove a nickname. If it were, we would have to remove the nickname "Lester the Molester" from the Lester Hayes page. Numerous reliable sources have reported that this nickname (offensive or not) has been used to refer to Cortés Jr. [1][2][3]ComeAndHear (talk) 20:41, 3 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If it was used as a nickname on an official MLB broadcast and numerous reliable sources refer to it as such, I think it should be included. How common it is/how often it's been used is a different question altogether. His nickname "Hialeah Kid" is probably less common at this point (just going by the # of reliable sources mentioning it) and yet I don't see anyone taking issue with its inclusion.
I propose we keep just "Nasty Nestor" in the lead and mention the other two somewhere else in the article/infobox, to reflect the relative frequency of usage. ComeAndHear (talk) 22:04, 3 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
