The duluthstreams.org website (cited in the article) calls the two principal forks the North Fork and the South Fork, and gives the stream length at 20 miles. The Thos. Waters book (also now cited) does not use the term North Fork, it is instead the Nemadji River itself. (There is also a Nemadji Creek, even further north and west.) The river's length from its source is stated as 65 miles. The USGS maps also do not use North Fork, but simply call the river originating in Maheu Lake the Nemadji River. (The MnDOT map of Carlton County however uses North Fork.) I have edited the article to conform to the USGS usage but local usage may be different. Kablammo15:28, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
