Kamma Naidu also the part of all Nayak dynasties
[edit]After the Battle of Talikota, the death of Rama Raya led to Tirumala Deva Raya establishing the Aravidu dynasty of the Vijayanagar Empire. All Nayak dynasties (such as Madurai, Tanjore, Keladi, Chitradurga, and Gingee) emerged from the Aravidu dynasty. Various communities contributed to the Nayak dynasties by owning, ruling, working, governing, and serving in their armies.
The Kamma people from regions like Kovilpatti, Coimbatore, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Kuruvikulam, Theni, and northern Tamil Nadu are living evidence of their historical association with the Nayak dynasties.
Historically noted clans: Pemmasani Nayakas, Musunuri Nayakas, Ravella Nayakas, Sayapaneni Nayakas etc.
Historically unnoted: lots
