I have deleted the phrase "besides that, some 1000 people only managed to keep their weight for a couple of weeks before returning to their normal weight". Why? Because it is meaningless. First, where did the 1000 people come from? Did they apply for membership to the study? Diet failure rate is very high (~95%+) so maybe that number should be 115,000. Also, the study requires people to have kept the weight off for a year, yet the above states 2 weeks. Also, no reference was made to help understanding of the statement. 132.181.7.1 04:28, 16 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I just tried to add the following citation to this article, "Wyatt HR, Grunwald OK, Mosca CL, Klem ML, Wing RR, Hill JO. (2002). Long-term weight loss and breakfast in subjects in the National Weight Control Registry. Obesity Research, 10, 78-82.". However, I think I added it incorrectly because it didn't incorporate correctly into the page. Thanks and sorry for the mess-up.
