(Here's a credible claim of significance and importance of Nathan Yau stating this article does not fall under Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, in particular A7. The article does attribute noteworthiness to the subject by stating that he won two widely recognized awards - Dataviz Website award at Kantar Information is Beautiful Awards for his blog FlowingData and Graphic Design & Data Visualization award at Fast Company's Innovation by Design Awards for a data visualization project series he had created. Relevant references are initially provided in the article. Yau's personal blog is featured manywhere among top and best data visualization blogs; some examples can be found in the article sources. The article also says the subject is one of the Best American Infographics Brain Trust as treated by Gareth Cook with other significant and notable subjects and wrote books notably presented and referenced by experts including in relevant notable sources.
