copyedit difficulty
[edit]I can not resolve the meaning of: "The principal of the kantha stitch is that munite areas of the cloth are covered by the stitches." What does "munite" mean?? LilHelpa (talk) 13:21, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
- Probably a typo for "minute" (meaning 'very small'). But now, eight years later, that sentence is gone. --Thnidu (talk) 23:24, 15 January 2017 (UTC)
Kantha
[edit]This isn't my area of expertise, but I believe Nakshi Kantha refers specifically to the embroidered quilt and Kantha is the embroidery style, which can be applied to quilts and other articles. There is much info in this article that would be useful in kantha. If an expert could make the appropriate edits, that would be appreciated. - PKM (talk) 17:18, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
