Something isn't right. Either the medal did not originate in 1991, or some our notable awardees did not receive this medal. For example, look at http://www.math.vanderbilt.edu/faculty/Arenstorf.html -- his bio states that he received the "NASA Medal for Exceptional Scientific Achievement" in 1966. Is this is the same as the "NASA Exceptional Achievement Medal" or different? Romanpoet 16:25, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The section "Recipients by year" is misleading.

This section only lists one recipient per year, giving the perception that there is one recipient a year. Actually there are more than 100 per year. It is not as significant an award as people would think. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jun66 (talkcontribs) 07:40, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
