Attempting some copyediting just now, I ran across the following. I can't edit it because I can't work out what it means to say. "MUHBA impulses a European network of city history museums and research centers on urban history (since 2010)." For starters, "impulse" in English is not a verb. Maybe a false cognate of the Spanish impulsar, "to boost"/"to push"? But even then the sentence is horribly ambiguous. Does it mean that MUHBA gave the impulse to create this network, or something else? And, in any case, what is the network called?
