I'm not sure if this page should exist. I found this text tacked onto the Postmodern picture book page, possibly a relic of the page at Multiliteracies that was deleted (I can't figure out how to view deleted pages). It seemed a separate page, so I moved it out, but its possible it really is just that page that was deleted after review, and therefore this page should go. In any case, this text should definately *not* be tacked back onto Postmodern picture book.

Pluriliteracy

[edit]

Suggest a new article for the term "pluriliteracy," which explicitly refers to literacy in multiple languages. Multiliteracy has tended to focus on mastery of multiple media/technologies. Pluriliteracy is in the European lexicon, and very pertinent to discussion of African sociolinguistics. However, the multiliteracy/pluriliteracy pair is not parallel to multilingualism/plurilingualism, so it's not a tidy use of prefixes.--A12n (talk) 16:02, 12 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
