Should I delete?

There were virtually no references anywhere in this article when I began working on it, and it still contains far too much unreferenced material. I have looked all over, but I have not found any references for the techincal specifications that are given in the article, among other things. The question is - Should I delete the material or shouldn't I? The article goes into such great detail, yet none of it is referenced, except where I managed to find an official site or two. I hope someone stumbles upon this message, and either helps me find cites for all that content or gives some kind of feedback as to what I should do. --Interchange88 10:19, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

Sorry. What I said is no longer relevant, and the article has developed since December, like you said. There is still quite a lot of unreferenced material, but i've worked on that.--Interchange88 21:08, 18 March 2010 (UTC)

Could someone sort out the mangled sentences?

It looks like parts of the page have been written by people associated with the Russian government, but who don't seem too proficient in English. I would ask these Russian editors to either talk to us to try to clarify the mangled sentences in some of the building sections; or give us the sources so we could straighten this out. This is an important project for your country, so it's in your best interest to try to make the article look good. Apart from that, it has plenty of detail. Pretty good, could be better. Moscow International Business Center → Moscow City – The area refers to itself as "Moscow City" (cityfirst.ru) as does the Moscow Times. "Moscow International Business Center" is used as more of a descriptive tag. Russian/German/French Wikipedia all list this under "Moscow City" Keizers (talk) 20:13, 2 November 2012 (UTC)

• Oppose - Москва-Сити [Moskva Siti] is a Anglification-nickname for property marketing purposes, wheras per Google Books overwhelmingly Moscow City means Город Москва, City of Moscow, and should (i.e. currently it doesn't) redirect to Moscow.

In ictu oculi, this does not conform with the Wikipedia guideline WP:COMMONNAME. The overwhelmingly most common name for the complex in English is Moscow City. This is how the complex is described by the RT television network in English, as well as the recent English press release for Mercury City Tower, and as I stated, The Moscow Times.You state that people might search for "Moscow City" intending to find the city of Moscow. As a native English speaker, I can say that "Moscow City" is not at all a phrase that is used to identify Moscow, in the same way as "Mexico City" or "New York City". I don't think we should prevent the article from bearing the common name just because of the rare occurence that someone might search for "Moscow City" to mean Moscow, or the fact that "Moscow City" literally translated back into Russian means "Город Москва", City of Moscow. For those rare cases we can apply a "For" template ("for the City of Moscow, see Moscow") at the top. Keizers (talk) 03:07, 3 November 2012 (UTC)

In that book it refers to Город Москва (City of Moscow), I would argue that is their own choice of phraseology and not really standard English. But knowing Moscow well and as a native speaker, certainly if someone said "Moscow City" I would immediately think of the business centre, whereas if referring to the City of Moscow, I would expect to hear "City of Moscow". You have a point with that one example of a book, but are those examples really extensive, and are there really more than the *consistent* references to the business centre as "Moscow City" by the major English-language media of Russia (RT, Moscow Times, their own press releases). Hi, thanks for that answer. Maybe I have a misconception about how WP:AT article titles are meant to work, but if you know Moscow well aren't you disqualified? Shouldn't this be titled for the 99% of readers who don't know Moscow well?

I agree, the capitalization C for city isn't good style, but like it or not, it is common enough to stumble this RM. • Rename as Moscow City International Business Center. This form gets 13 hits on RT for the last year, see "Moscow City International Business Center" site:rt.com. "Moscow City" can viewed as a shortened version of the full name. I hope that this RM is not decided on the basis of usage in the context of the 1905 Revolution.
