Remark on toric ideals
[edit]Toric ideals are not mentioned in the article besides the introductory paragraphs. Either this paragraph should be deleted entirely, or perhaps toric ideals should be discussed in an entirely separate section of the article. In either case, toric ideals are distinct enough from the topic of monomial ideals that they should not be mentioned at all in the introductory paragraph. Spamakin (talk) 01:48, 2 January 2025 (UTC)
- "Toric ideals" and "monomial ideal" are different topic that both deserve to have their own article. So, I moved the paregraph on toric ideals to Toric ideal, which was previously a redirect to Monomial ideal. D.Lazard (talk) 14:58, 2 January 2025 (UTC)
