[edit]There is a strange bug when browsing this site from firefox 3. I am also getting it with chrome 3 and IE 7. When in preview of the text editor, the parsing failures do not occur.
Failed to parse (Cannot write to or create math output directory): \bar{Y} = \frac{Lc\alpha(1+c \alpha)^{n-1}+\alpha(1+\alpha)^{n-1}}{(1+\alpha)^n+L(1+c\alpha)^n}
Failed to parse (<math_output_error>): \bar{R} = \frac{(1+\alpha)^n}{(1+\alpha)^n+L(1+c\alpha)^n}
Where Failed to parse (Cannot write to or create math output directory): L = [T]_0/[R]_0
is the allosteric constant, that is the ratio of proteins in the T and R states in the absence of ligand, Failed to parse (Cannot write to or create math output directory): c=K_R/K_T is the ratio of the affinities of R and T states for the ligand, and Failed to parse (Cannot write to or create math output directory): \alpha=[X]/K_R
, the normalised concentration of ligand.
I just reloaded the site after posting this and the errors disappeared. 129.128.157.245 (talk) 23:26, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
