Infobox deleted
[edit]Nearly empty Karlin infobox deleted as per WP:MOS (Wikipedia:Manual of Style (infoboxes)): “The most important group to consider are the casual readers of Wikipedia, who will never do any significant editing. Infobox templates that contain many blank fields, question marks” and “Unknowns present an unprofessional appearance, diminishing Wikipedia’s reputation as a high-quality encyclopedia.” Rms125a@hotmail.com (talk) 15:29, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
Samuels v Karlin
[edit]If, as the preponderance of evidence suggests, she changed her surname from "Samuels" to "Karlin", then her father's surname must have been Samuels originally as well. The FilmReference claim that her father's name was "Harry Samuels Karlin" is either incorrect or he changed his name as well. Rms125a@hotmail.com (talk) 00:31, 4 June 2011 (UTC)
- The article on her brother Michael Samuels makes the "Harry Samuels Karlin" claim, but with no supporting reference. None of his books were published as other than "Harry Samuels" Davidships (talk) 15:50, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
There is an RfC on the question of using "Religion: None" vs. "Religion: None (atheist)" in the infobox on this and other similar pages.
The RfC is at Template talk:Infobox person#RfC: Religion infobox entries for individuals that have no religion.
Please help us determine consensus on this issue. --Guy Macon (talk) 05:11, 23 April 2015 (UTC)
