Deletion of Talk page
[edit]As others have said, please don't. It preserves a record of discussions, and gives other editors a background to the issues and conflicts involved. Tearlach 17:50, 4 September 2005 (UTC)
Tone and deletions
[edit]The tone of this article is not acceptable, but the answer is not deletion of huge blocks of text without consensus. The answer is in citing sources, and trying to be impartial. More content is good for the reader, esp. when its verifiable and neutral. Sam Spade 00:29, 6 September 2005 (UTC)
- Agreed. However - I'd never bothered to look this up before - the Wikipedia:Verifiability#Checking verifiability guidelines do suggest that material that is persistently unverified should be moved to Talk page, and ultimately deleted if no verification is forthcoming.
All of the following quoted section needs sourcing, or it should go. Tearlach 12:08, 11 September 2005 (UTC)
- For now, it has to go. But anything can be replaced if it is very carefully and fully sourced of course -- sannse (talk)
Deleted sections, please discuss

Please do not replace this without discussing with me or a Wikimedia Foundation representative. Thanks -- sannse (talk) 17:47, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
Source
[edit]I am leaving this thesis here, that talks about the subject a little, so if someone wants to expand the article, it can be used as a source (seems reliable, but not completely sure about it). -- SMS Talk 23:53, 24 February 2014 (UTC)
