Christian-Muslim conflict
[edit]Whether accidentally or otherwise, all our articles on the CAR conflict currently seem almost designed to make it as hard as possible for the casual reader to learn about the Christian-Muslim dimension of the present conflict, thus seemingly doing a major disservice to such readers. Perhaps editors could try to bear this in mind before deleting passages which attempt to undo this disservice. Tlhslobus (talk) 03:47, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- I must say you've added way too much irrelevant detail about Bokassa to the intro. Could you consider a different placement for it? Everyking (talk) 03:51, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for having the courtesy to ask, Everyking. I wouldn't want to mention Bokassa at all, except that somebody deleted the 'first Muslim President' (which is how the cited sources describe Djotodia), saying Bokassa was first. So I felt I had to mention Bokassa, and also briefly mention that the sources basically hint "but he wasn't a real Muslim", along with citations to back this up. But if you can word it better please do. Tlhslobus (talk) 06:58, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- And if you'd also like to have a look at what's been happening in the related articles here and here, please do. Tlhslobus (talk) 07:07, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks, Everyking, I think your changing it into a note was the ideal solution.Tlhslobus (talk) 06:00, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
